About Watch Value Guide

Watch Value Guide is an independent, buyer-first watch database. It gathers in one place what buyers normally check across several: specifications, reference numbers, retail price, new online price, fair used value, resale behaviour, common faults and the alternatives worth comparing.

The database covers affordable and mid-range references alongside selected upper-mid-range and luxury models, so a buyer can compare a $200 Seiko against a $2,000 Tudor using the same price logic.

Every price band, good-buy threshold and verdict on this site is written by the editorial side of the site, not by a retailer. Watch Value Guide does not sell watches, does not broker transactions, does not authenticate watches and does not accept payment for a better ranking or a softer verdict.

Price bands are editorial estimates based on public retail listings, current new-watch discounting and second-hand market references. They are a research starting point. Condition, completeness, service history and seller trust move real transaction prices, so always check live listings before paying.
